The best ravioli stuffing recipe
Last night we made the best raviolis. Stuffing: 1 container of ricotta cheese Almost one pkg, of organic munster cheese (ground fine—this is the best cheese for raviolis—it melts at a low temp.) 4 pieces of organic bacon (fried, cooled and cut into fine bits) salt/pepper/ and fresh grated nutmeg …….and then the number one yummy addition: Fresh Orange Zest—add to taste. Make sure you tuck any sharp bacon bits away from the pasta dough—they can cut and break your yummy parcels. Also once your water is boiling and you add your raviolis Turn you water down—this also keeps them from breaking!! We served this meal with a Light Tomato Red Pepper Bolognaise sauce!!!!!! yum They were the wonderful—we had the rest for breakfast!!!!
