chicken tractor We have been working the garden getting ready for spring to hit full force. We have a chicken tractor. It’s a pen like structure out of chicken wire with a small coop at one end. The one we built yesterday fits the length of our garden bed which is 4’x12’. We have four hens in there and they will eat all the weeds and till the earth. When dirt is ready we will move them to the next section of the garden. Our garden is round so we just pick up the fencing/coop and move it down. We rotate the chickens and plant behind them after we let the soil rest a little. It sure makes the garden nice and lessens the chickens that you have to chase out of the garden.
